Traleen Park Stud.
Tim Amitrano
Tim
started riding horses at the late age of 15 and in under just 10 years
he accomplished what most are unable to in a lifetime with horses. His
natural ability, strong determination and focused attitude gave him
national recognition by being the only individual showjumping
competitor for Australia at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
In
his short years in the saddle he has competed in the Australasian World
Cup series numerous times, winning the 2005-6 season and he also
competed in the 2004 World Cup Finals in Milan, Italy. He is now
preparing for his next goal is 2007 World Cup Finals in Las Vegas, USA.
Tim
enjoys supporting his local community by being involved in equine
activities to help disabled children. He actively coaches junior and
young riders across Australia so that someday they may experience
excellence and some of the highlights he has.
His
mission is to foster, promote and coach showjumping and to train and
breed quality Australian performance horses for the national and
international markets, with successful dealings in the USA and Japan
already accomplished.
In
1998 whilst completing a Diploma of Horse Business Management at the
exclusive Marcus Oldham College, he teamed up with Heidi and together
they make the dynamic, successful and dedicated team of Traleen
Park.
“Tim has jumped the second hardest showjumping course to be seen for the last four years” - Olympic Report
“Tim
rose to prominence with his 10yr old grey gelding and won Sydney World
Cup in 2004, a major selection event. He took himself off to Europe to
improve his selection chances and his 12 fault round in the Grand Prix
at Rotterdam proved his emerging talent.” - Australian Olympic

Heidi Neville
Heidi
started riding at an early age and developed a natural talent with
horses. Along the way she has learned many aspects of the horse
industry from the Western horse and disciplines through to the English
skills and ultimately onto the showjumping arena that is now her main
focus.
She
has always been involved in breeding performance horses and has
mastered the skills of bringing on young horses correctly from their
beginnings. She truly forms the support behind Tim’s successful
career and is a wonderful asset to their team.
Being
responsible for the starting of all the young horses produced or
purchased by their stud, as well as assistance in the fine tuning of
the more highly experienced competition horses they prepare, she is the
foundation of Traleen Park Stud.
